Clinical Ethics Workshop : Ethical Issues at the End of Life.
We organised a clinical ethics workshop for clinicians in the Penang area, focusing on ethical challenges related to end-of-life care. The workshop attracted 50 participants and received an excellent response. Attendees engaged in interactive group discussions, where they analyzed real-world clinical ethics cases. Each group was guided by our panel of experts, fostering in-depth conversations on critical end-of-life ethical issues, including patient autonomy, decision-making, and compassionate care.
Public Engagement : With the End in Mind
We also held a public engagement event at Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital, where we explored ethical issues surrounding end-of-life care with patients and caregivers. This two-hour panel discussion featured insightful conversations led by our experts, and it generated strong interest from the attendees. Many participants posed thoughtful and challenging questions, creating a meaningful dialogue on the complexities of end-of-life decision-making and patient care. The event was well-received and highlighted the importance of addressing these difficult topics.
